Conservation and Restored the Dome of Shah Raju Dargah at Misrigunj of Hyderabad.


History

The Dargah of Hazrat Syed Shah Raziuddin is located on the road from Misrigunj to Jahanuma.

The Qutb Shahi ruler, Abul Hassan Tana Shah, built this magnificent tomb on his grave in 1684 in the memory of his nephew, Hazrat Syed Shah Raziuddin.

This tomb stands on a square platform having a verandah top with a bulbous dome constructed in the typical Qutb Shahi style of architecture. The exterior walls of the tomb are beautifully decorated with arches.

Exposed stone masonry to the dome area

Dismantling plaster/pointing/deteriorated dome plaster up to 25mm thick 

Careful dismantling existing damaged and corroded cast iron dowels of the dome

Raking out joints of stone masonry surface

Inserting of pipes for pressure grouting of traditional lime mortar

Inserting stainless steel flats in to stone masonry

Construction of stone masonry 1st & 2nd layers with lime mortar
